Presentation topics

At Service Space 2026, we’ll be exploring these topics:

  • Experience service design and modelling first-hand
At Service Space, you’ll gain practical insights into service modelling and the use of the CMDB. In the partners’ area, theory becomes tangible practice – speak directly to experts who work on implementation every day.
  • From the service portfolio to the service catalogue – clarity instead of chaos
Services, products, solutions, systems – we (and ITIL) bring order to the terminology. In engaging sessions and discussions, you’ll learn how Value Stream Management can be applied effectively in ITSM.
  • AI and automation: what really works today
Whether it’s chatbots, automated workflows or predictive maintenance – the spectrum is vast. At Service Space, you’ll hear first-hand which AI applications are already working, where automation delivers real benefits – and where hype meets reality.
  • Service Management – more than just ITIL
Be inspired: from identity and access management through ticket bridging to multi-provider management, DevOps and Lean – here you’ll meet experts from various disciplines who work together to deliver successful services.
  • Tackling compliance before it becomes critical
Legislation and regulations such as NIS2, NISG and DORA present many service providers with new challenges. Get tips from professionals who are already in the midst of implementation – and take the opportunity to ask your questions directly.
  • ESM with real added value for business
Best practices and concrete examples demonstrate how service management works beyond IT – effectively, economically and with tangible benefits. Exchange ideas with pioneers who have successfully established service management practices in various areas of the organisation.

Please select one of the subject areas and assign your post to the relevant topic. If your post covers several topics (e.g. if it is an ITSM project report), please specify which topic is the main focus.

Furthermore, out of consideration for our participants, each contribution should be labelled with one of three experience levels:
⦁ ‘walk’ for beginners in a topic
⦁ ‘run’ for advanced participants
⦁ ‘fly’ for experts

To enable us to advertise the contribution correctly, please also categorise it according to its type:
⦁ Presentation (by you)
⦁ Client presentation
⦁ Workshop

We will shorten very long or general titles and descriptions ourselves, or adapt them to our style, so that they work well in visuals and on the website.

For publication, we need:

  • Topic
  • Experience level
  • Presentation type
  • Presentation title
  • Speaker(s) (name, role, organisation)
  • Abstract / Description
  • Speaker photo:
    • Preferably a single image of the speaker (or a group photo if it is a joint presentation)
    • Good resolution, not pixelated
    • No cropped heads or missing body parts
    • Perspective as similar as possible to that of other speakers (chest or shoulder height, not just the face)
    • Background doesn’t matter – I’ll adjust it if necessary
    • If there isn’t a suitable photo at all: it’s better to take a new photo (neutral background, good lighting) than to send an old, poor-quality press photo (a mobile phone photo is usually perfectly adequate – the important thing is that nothing is cut off)

The rooms are set up to accommodate approximately 60–70 participants (row seating), and the necessary technical equipment will be provided.

A note on the programme:

From 2025 onwards, all submissions will be reviewed by our programme committee. Please therefore submit your talks/workshops as early and as fully as possible so that you receive approval in good time. The committee meets every 6 weeks!

We will only publish the descriptions on the website and on LinkedIn once they have been approved.

Timetable
We are deliberately waiting until later to publish the final programme with fixed time slots.
The reason: we want to coordinate the sessions so that they are well spread out over the day – rather than, for example, having three sessions on AI running at the same time. Therefore, we cannot confirm or guarantee any time slots until then.

There is a limited number of themed presentations per topic area:

Abbreviation Topic Number available
MOD Service Design and Modelling 2
PKR Service Portfolio, Service Catalogue, Request Catalogue 2
KIA AI and Automation 4
EXC Beyond Service Management 3
GRC Compliance (GRC) 2
ESM Enterprise Service Management 2

Once a topic area is well-stocked, we may not be able to accept any further contributions on that subject – in which case we’ll let you know straight away. I regularly update the topic availability here in the Partner FAQs.

What information do I need to provide for my presentation?

see presentation topics

When do I need to announce my talk/workshop?

The sooner you announce your talk or workshop, the sooner the programme committee can approve it and we can feature it on the website.

Do I need a separate ticket for my speaker?

At Service Space, there are two types of speakers: on the one hand, the keynote speakers, who are selected by the programme committee, and on the other hand, speakers nominated by exhibiting partners.

If your speakers are employees of your company – regardless of their location – they are included in the package and do not need their own ticket.
If you invite clients or international speakers to speak, it’s just as straightforward: you don’t need to buy a separate ticket for them. We’ll provide one for them.

As a guide:
If you have booked a package with 6 people included and 4 of your own employees are on stage as speakers, these 4 already count as part of your allocation – so there are still 2 places left.

If, on the other hand, 2 of your staff and 2 of your clients’ staff are on stage, only the 2 people from your own company count towards your quota. In this case, there are still 4 places left.

When do I need to send my presentation slides?

Please send us your presentation slides (PPT 16:9) by 31 March 2026 at the latest, so that we have enough time to transfer them to the relevant presenter’s laptop and test them.

When and where will our event take place?

We organise the individual programme items according to theme and relevance. As soon as the programme has been finalised, we will let you know the exact time slot.

Please bear in mind that any verbal confirmations are always provisional and merely indicative, and that a fixed slot at a specific time cannot be guaranteed.

Please inform your speaker(s) that a fixed time will not be confirmed until later in March.

Do I need to bring my own microphone?

No, that isn’t necessary.

Our technical partner, Bernhard AV, will provide all the necessary technical equipment. In some rooms you won’t need a microphone; in others, you’ll be given either a wireless microphone or a handheld microphone. Please speak to the relevant presenters well in advance of your talk or workshop.

How do I know which room my talk is taking place in?

All programme items are listed in the programme booklet. You’ll find the programme booklet at your stand by the morning at the latest. We’ll also make the daily schedule available as a PDF.
There will be moderators from our team in every room; we’ll send you the full details in good time before the event.

Location and how to get there

Where will Service Space 2026 take place?

Service Space 2026 will take place in the Spitzhof at the Schönbrunn Conference Centre.

You can find photos, overviews and further information about the venue here

How do I get to the conference venue?

The entrance to the Spitzhof is on Schloßstraße.

There is a public pay-and-display car park opposite the venue (which also has charging points for electric cars), and the “Schönbrunn” underground station is also directly opposite. Use the “Grünbergstraße” exit for the shortest route.

Benefit for partners: You can have your parking ticket stamped at reception at any time – this means you won’t incur any costs whilst you’re here.

You can find further information on how to get here here:
https://www.schoenbrunnmeetings.com/buchung-co/anfahrt

Can I set up my stall the day before?

You can set up your stand on 13 April between 2.00 pm and 5.00 pm.

Delivery and collection
There is a loading bay directly in front of the entrance (marked in black on the map). You can park your vehicle there briefly both for delivery the day before and for collection in the evening to unload or load your goods.

Once you’ve finished, please park your vehicle in the public, paid car park opposite so that others can also unload or load their goods.
The good news is: you can always have your parking ticket stamped at reception – unfortunately, you’ll have to pay for the car park from this year onwards, but the price has been reduced.

How big is my pitch?

Basic Package
Your stand space is approx. 2 square metres. Included are 1 bar table, 1 bar stool and a power connection.
You’ll have space for your very narrow promotional display or 2 roll-ups.

Can I get some extra furniture?

You can purchase additional furniture for your Ultimate stand. Please contact manuela.friedl@itsmpartner.at, and a list will be sent to you.

Can I use additional advertising space?

The Schönbrunn Conference Centre is a listed building. All advertising hoardings, roll-ups and other movable, easily removable materials must comply with the applicable fire safety regulations.

Whether additional advertising space is available depends on the package you have booked and approval from the venue’s safety engineer. Simply send an email to manuela.friedl@itsmpartner.at – we’ll sort it out for you and let you know.

When can I set up my stall?

Still to be confirmed: On 13 April, you can set up your stall between 2 pm and 5 pm.

There is a loading bay directly in front of the entrance (see the black marker on the map). You can park your vehicle there briefly for both deliveries in the morning and collections in the evening to load or unload.

Once you’ve finished, please park your vehicle in the public, paid car park opposite.
The good thing about this: You can have your parking ticket stamped at reception at any time – this means you won’t incur any costs during the set-up period.

On the day of the conference itself, you can start setting up your stand from around 7 am. We, as ITSM partners, will arrive at the venue between 7 am and half past 7 am.

When do I need to dismantle my stall?

Your stand must be dismantled by 10.00 pm at the latest. Please take everything you brought with you back with you. We can only dispose of any roll-ups and other materials left behind at a charge, which we will pass on to you.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Wi-Fi is provided by the venue; login details will be made available on site.

Is there a separate catering area for partners and speakers?

No, the exhibitors’ area is located in the general break area. Catering is available to everyone – although we would ask that, if there are long queues, you give priority to participants so that they can return to the lecture theatres in good time.

Catering will once again provide lunch for 30 minutes longer than the official break schedule allows.

When and how can I register my stand staff?

Please send us the names and email addresses of everyone who will be manning your stand by 24 March 2026 at the latest. We will prepare suitable name badges for everyone. If you are not attending yourself, please inform everyone that they must check in at the entrance – they will receive their name badges there.

Ultimate Package: max. 6 people (including in-house speakers (see FAQ: My Presentation))
Premium Package: max. 4 people (including in-house speakers (see FAQ: My Presentation))
Basic Package: max. 2 people

Additional tickets for staff are only available at an extra cost.

On-site programme

Elevator Pitch

All elevator pitches will take place shortly after 09:00, before the first talk on the main stage.

The length of your pitch depends on your package:
Ultimate Package: 60 seconds.
Premium Package: 30 seconds.

No slides! A stopwatch will be running in the background and we’ll switch off the microphone when the time’s up. So think carefully about how you’re going to grab the audience’s attention.
A quick tip: a good sense of humour has always been the most successful approach so far.

Let us know by 24 March 2026 at the latest who will be delivering your elevator pitch.

You’ll be informed of the order of presentation no later than the morning of the conference. Please contact our Service Desk (directly at check-in) or Reinhard Volz directly upon your arrival at the conference.

Programme schedule

We organise the individual programme items according to theme and relevance. As soon as the programme has been finalised, we will let you know the exact time slot.

Please bear in mind that any verbal confirmations are always provisional and merely indicative, and that a fixed slot at a specific time cannot be guaranteed.

Please inform your speaker(s) that a fixed time will not be confirmed until later in March.

Marketing & Package Contents

Integration into the social media campaign

For all approved presentations for which we, as an ITSM partner, have information regarding: the speaker(s), a photograph of the speaker(s), the title, the topic of the presentation and a brief description, we will design visuals which we will publish on our LinkedIn page.

An example visual from 2025:

Advertisement in the programme

The Ultimate Package includes an advertisement in the programme.
The programme is printed in A5 landscape format (148 x 210 mm); please send us a suitable file (PDF for print) with a 3 mm bleed.

Deadline: 3 March 2026

Logo and brief description in the programme.

We’ll also be using your logo in the programme. Please send us a short description of your company; we’ll include it in the programme and then send you a proof for your approval. This applies to all packages.

Promotional leaflet and/or giveaway item for the conference bag

If your package includes a promotional leaflet or a giveaway item for the conference bag, please let us know as soon as possible whether you will be sending us a giveaway item and, if so, which one.

Please then send everything by 10 March 2026 at the latest (to arrive at our premises) to the following address: ITSM Partner GmbH, Engerthstraße 90, 1200 Vienna.

We will prepare around 300 conference bags. If significantly fewer participants are registered, we will bring the remaining goodies to the conference so that you can take them home with you. You can also leave any remaining goodies with us and we will make them available to our course participants in the training room. Just let us know which option you prefer.

Roll-up next to the main stage

We don’t specify a format, but it must be a roll-up banner, not a display board. Please bring your own roll-up banner or beach flag.

Beach flag or roll-up banner at the main entrance

We don’t specify a particular format, but it must not be a billboard. Important: Whether it’s a beach flag or a roll-up, it must be wind-resistant. In other words, it must be suitable for outdoor use. Please bring your own roll-up or beach flag.

Programminfo im ITSM Partner Newsletter

We will regularly be presenting the programme items that have already been finalised by the time of each publication: title, speaker, abstract and level.

Miscellaneous

Additional tickets for staff

Each package includes a certain number of tickets for staff. If you need more tickets, you can order additional ones. Please send an email to Manuela.friedl@itsmartner.at. Each additional ticket costs EUR 1,000.

People present (stand staff, speakers)

Please send us the names of all attendees, along with their respective email addresses, by 24 March 2026 at the latest.

All attendees will then receive a ticket for check-in via email.

Name badges will be available at the compulsory check-in (queue: partners).
Conference bags, including the programme booklet, will be available at the stand.
For sustainability reasons, we are providing only one conference bag per partner. You can ask for additional programme booklets at check-in.

Hotel allocation

Unfortunately, we are unable to reserve a block of rooms at a hotel. The reason for this is that the hotel requires fixed arrival and departure dates – which is simply not feasible for us, given the wide variety of individual itineraries our partners offer.
